Welcome to my Substack!
First off, welcome to my Substack! I’m Tiffany, one of the co-founders of ShopMy. If you haven’t heard of ShopMy, it’s a platform for content creators to showcase their favorite products and earn commission via affiliate links. We’re probably most well-known for our beautiful storefronts where creators can easily share their favorite products, but there is a lot more to our platform too — a lot of which I want to start covering in this Substack!
Here are some of the things I’m planning to cover here:
Some of my favorite things + brands — a lot of which I’ve discovered from ShopMy brands + creators!
Tips for how creators can maximize their affiliate earnings both short term and longterm
How creators should think about their different revenue streams (affiliate revenue, sponsored content, subscriptions, etc.). I’m extremely passionate about this topic.
Breaking down the world of affiliate marketing and how it all works
Interviews with ShopMy creators on their stories + best practices in affiliates
Interviews with brand founders on how they use ShopMy and how they think about affiliates
Interviews with people on the ShopMy team about what they do at ShopMy
Other fun things that come up along the way
I thought it would be fun to start with something light — a list of some of the favorite things I’ve discovered in 2023. Because of what I do and what I’m looking at all day, I see (and am influenced to buy) a lot of cool things. So here are some of my favorite products, brands + purchases of 2023!

Beauty: Favorite New Products
Crown Affair Hair Perfume: I won’t shut up about this brand. I have every product they’ve made including their merch. I’ve been addicted since I tried their hair mask because the smell is just so good. So when they launched a Hair Perfume this year, I immediately purchased it, and it’s incredible. Before being introduced to Crown Affair, my favorite scent was Oribe Cote D’Azur, so if you like that at all, I think you’ll love this! I can’t wait until this brand makes candles.
Dieux Air Angel Gel Cream: Dieux is another brand that I won’t shut up about. If you’re not familiar, Dieux launched the brand with re-usable eye patches, and eventually developed a cult favorite serum that everyone loves called Deliverance. I use it almost everyday and have probably gone through 10 bottles at this point. I also use their Instant Angel Skin Restoring Moisturizer which is a thicker cream moisturizer, perfect for winter (I use to buy SkinCeuticals Triple Lipid, but now I just use Instant Angel — I think it’s much better and it’s also cheaper). Anyway, a few months ago, they released another new product, Air Angel Hydrating Gel Cream, which is a lighter moisturizer. I love it for under makeup. I just re-purchased it again during their black Friday sale.
Tower28 Mascara: I tried this mascara because it was one of the products included in the gift bags for an event we did back in February. It it 100% worth the hype. It’s the only mascara I’ve ever repurchased.
Hanni Splash Salve: So Hanni is probably most well known for their Water Balm. It’s a spray that you can basically use instead of body lotion — you basically just spray it on yourself after getting out of the shower instead of using body lotion and it locks in the moisture. I have and love that product, but I love their Splash Salve even more — it’s basically a balm that you put on right before getting out of the shower that is like a moisture mask for your entire body. I also love the scent of their products!
Folding Toiletry Bag: this has been a game changer for traveling and I tell everyone to buy this. I have one of the big Calpak cases (which I love), but being able to hang this on the bathroom door at a hotel makes organizing all of my toiletries when traveling so much easier. Highly recommend!

Most Worn Items
Leonie Crystal Ballet Flats: The mesh and crystal flat trend took the world by storm this summer, and I was one of the victims. I have to say I absolutely love these ones. They are so so so comfortable. I always knew they were cute, but I bought them after Things I Bought & Liked (one of my absolute favorite creators — if you don’t follow her, you should) said she walked all around NYC with them and they were so comfortable. She was right.
Reformation Petite Silk Pants: I’m a huge fan of silk pants, but since I’m short (and too lazy to get anything hemmed) I always buy cropped styles. I was excited to find out Reformation had Petite sizing on their silk pants, so I bought the black ones, and I’ve worn them with so many things. I’ve dressed them up with heels and a nice down and dressed them down with sweaters and sneakers.
Dagne Dover Vida Cotton Tote Bag: I don’t think this is that cute of a bag, but it is extremely practical, so it definitely makes it to the top of my most worn list. It’s HUGE and has so many little compartments, so it has been the perfect carry-on bag for me. It fits my 16 inch laptop, a water bottle, and has four side compartments for four other little cases and bags. It makes me want to buy another cuter Dagne Dover bag. If you have any recommendations on styles, please let me know!
Sacai Jacket: I got this jacket on mega sale after Christmas last year, and I think it’s my favorite thing I own. I’ve never gotten so many compliments on something. They don’t have my exact color anymore, but they do have one this version and this version.
GAP Puffer Vest: GAP is absolutely crushing it this year — I feel like they made a total revamp. I’ve purchased a few things from them, and by far my most worn has been my chocolate brown puffer vest. It’s so soft and warm and I feel like it goes with everything!

Favorite New (to me!) Brands:
Little Liffner: I’m obsessed with this brand. I bought their Mini Sprout Tote in Black Suede, and I love it. I think their bags are so beautiful and unique. I also have my eye on the big chocolate tote.
Lisa Yang: If you don’t know this brand, you should put it on your radar. They’re a Scandinavian brand making incredible knitwear. I bought their Agatha Whipstitch Sweater early in the year and totally fell in love with this brand. The quality is absolutely incredible.
Larroudé: I bought my first pair of Larroudé shoes when I forgot to get a bridesmaid dress hemmed and needed to be 5 inches taller. The brand is known for their super high platform heels that are also incredibly comfortable, and I can confirm that is 100% accurate. I bought the Dolly Sandals and danced all night in them without any issues. I also love supporting this brand because we work with them on ShopMy, and their team is incredible. Their founder Marina is so inspiring, and she also has the best style (I’m constantly screenshotting and recreating her looks). I’m so excited to see more of the launches from this brand and add more to my shoe collection!
For your convenience, you can also shop everything mentioned here in my ShopMy (shameless plug!).
